Strengthening Christian social witness and understanding of issues related to Palestine-Israel

The No Way to Treat a Child campaign seeks to challenge Israel's prolonged military occupation of Palestinians by exposing widespread and systematic ill-treatment of Palestinian children in the Israeli military detention system. It is a project of Defense for Children International - Palestine and American Friends Service Committee.
On April 15, 2021, Rep. Betty McCollum (MN-4) introduced the Palestinian Children and Families Act, H.R. 2590, which “seeks to promote justice, equality and human rights for Palestinian children and families by prohibiting Israeli authorities from using U.S. taxpayer funds to detain and torture Palestinian children, demolish and seize Palestinian homes, and further annex Palestinian Land in the occupied West Bank,” in violation of international law.

HOLIDAY Advocacy Campaign!
No Dough for the Occupation / Boycott Pillsbury!
Did you know that Palestinians have asked us to boycott Pillsbury Products?
This is because the company has a factory operating in the Atarot Industrial Zone, an illegal Israeli settlement. For this reason, Pillsbury's parent company General Mills has been identified by the UN as a company that is illegally exploiting natural resources in occupied territory. Pillsbury's activities are against international law, and contribute to the theft of Palestinian land and resources!

Putting our words into action! We support church divestment from the Israeli Occupation. wherein we align Christian spiritual principles and policies of the United Methodist Church with investment practices of California-Nevada Annual Conference. Working with United Methodist Kairos Response, we support the 2005 Palestinian civil society call for Boycott and Divestment (BDS), reiterated by Palestinian Christians in the Kairos Palestine document.
